About Our Sacramento-Area Family Law Firm
Jessica Abdollahi knows what it is like to be a child of divorce. She takes this knowledge into the courtroom and understands that the case is not just about the law but about the emotions of family law cases. We take a different approach to our cases, as an attorney, it is our job to inform our clients of their legal position so they can make the best decision for their life. No client is the same therefore no decision should be either.
At Jess Legal you are not just another person we are helping; you are our client and friend. We pride ourselves on our integrity and loyalty to you as an individual. We approach each case that we take on as its own, never comparing or grouping any two persons together. You can expect that the representation you receive is second to none at all times. We have what you need, when you need it most: highly qualified, respectable attorneys ready to fight for you.
Jess Legal strives to stand out in our community as the law firm that you can trust to represent you. When you come to us, we take our time to listen to you and your problems and build a relationship founded on trust. Honesty and transparency are what we value and hold to the highest of standards no matter what your case may be about. Even if that means we are not the firm for you.
As our clients, we make certain that you understand our method of attack, aggressively fighting for your case and pushing forward in a way you agree to. It is important to us that you are kept up to date at all times and feel like you have a clear understanding of what is happening through every stage of your case. Your case is accessible through our management system where you can find all updates on your specific case, so you never have to wonder what we are doing and when. From start to finish, we work with you, for you. We provide you with status updates and copies of all court filings as soon as we receive them. We provide you copies of the correspondence to and from the other side so you know what is being transpired. Communication is the foundation for a trusting relationship.
With any life changing event, certain preparations need to be made to ensure your estate is taken care of for your heirs. We also provide estate planning services to ensure all of your affairs are in order and updated as your needs change. We apply the same approach for our estate planning clients as we do for our family law cases. We work with you to find the perfect plan for your life and take the necessary steps to help achieve this goal.
We have different options when it comes to the cost of representation. We can provide a-la-carte services to help on certain aspects or can assist you with full representation.
I have been practicing law since 2011. I have mainly focused my career on litigation, so I have no fear of the courtroom and fighting for my clients. I also understand that not every case needs to go to trial. In truth, it is usually not in anyone’s best interest to go to trial. The best course of action would be to try and reach a settlement, terms all parties can agree upon instead of having a third party decide.
I went to school in South Florida where I obtained my bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in political science. I earned juris doctor degree at St. Thomas University in sunny Miami Florida. I also obtained my MBA at the same time with a focus on International Business.
I was born and raised on the east coast and moved to California in 2015. Although I am licensed to practice in Florida and California, Florida is where I began. During my tenure in Florida I earned the nickname of “pitbull in a skirt” in the courtroom. When I am not at work, I can usually be found spending time with my family, traveling the world or reading a book (if I am lucky, I will be doing all three!).
